Jonathan Broxton picked up his fourth save of the season with a perfect ninth inning against the Pirates on Thursday. He had one strikeout.
Broxton continues to prove his mettle with yet another scoreless appearance. He's now made five scoreless appearances (five innings) this season and has given up three hits and three walks with five strikeouts. He'll move to a primary set-up role once Aroldis Chapman makes his way back, but for now, continue to harvest those saves he provides.ANALYST: Howard Bender
Zach Miller caught two passes on seven targets for 10 yards and a TD on Thursday night vs Green Bay.
Miller got the start in place of the injured Martellus Bennett on Thursday night. In all, he finished with two catches and a touchdown on seven targets, looking mediocre, however doing his best with the hand he was dealt. Anyone who started him in daily leagues could have expected better, however it is a bit spoiled to come away with much more than a TD as a definite backup. Consider him a wise play on Thursday night, and a keen start going forward at least until Bennett comes back healthy. Analysis: Dom Murtha
