UPDATES & NEWS
Doug Martin (shoulder) was fully cleared in advance of the Buccaneers' three-day voluntary minicamp. He's impressive, looks good and has taken all his reps according to head coach Lovie Smith.
Martin got off to a terrible start last season and was then limited to just six games due to the shoulder injury. Smith seems extremely confident in Martin's ability to bounce back and should end up marking him as the primary in a backfield that also has Mike James and Bobby Rainey. He should prove to have a decent value in fantasy play, but it will all depend on the distribution of carries and opportunities.ANALYST: Howard Bender
Update: Corey Dickerson was removed from Saturday's game with a left quad injury.
While the news regarding Dickerson's plantar fasciitis was positive, he was removed after he fouled a ball off his back leg and is now day-to-day with what the team is calling a quad injury. When his leg appeared to be swollen, manager Walt Weiss opted to play it safe and remove Dickerson who had gone 0-for-3 in Saturday's game against the Giants. Consider him day-to-day for right now and figure he'll be a game-time decision for Sunday. Analysis: Howard Bender
