Zack Greinke allowed two runs on five hits, a home run, one walk, to go with 11 strikeouts over seven innings in the win over the Phillies on Wednesday.

With the win Greinke moved his record to 4-0 on the season through five starts and has yet to yield more than two runs in a start. The double-digit strikeout game was his 18th of his career, but his first since 9/25/2012 vs. Seattle. Greinke will look to remain undefeated when he toes the slab in his next start on Tuesday at home against the Twins. ANALYST: Michael Pichan

Chad Gaudin's MRI showed irritated nerve in his neck. He consulted with doctors, and will rest and rehab in Arizona after the Dodgers break camp.

Nerve issues can be tricky and this issue is likely going to sideline Gaudin for the immediate future. If and when Gaudin is fully healthy, he will have a spot as a middle reliever in the Dodgers bullpen. Analysis: David Kerr

Ricky Rubio (ankle) is doubtful for Wednesday's game.

Rubio has played in just one game since March 13 and is likely to miss Wednesday's contest. His absence is crushing fantasy owners that were counting on him down the stretch for high assists totals. It's probable that Rubio will return at some point this year, though it is anyone's guess as to when. Analysis: David Kerr

Kevin Martin (hamstring) is questionable for Wednesday's game.

What started out as a day of rest for Martin last Monday has turned into five missed games. While he certainly can contribute for fantasy owners on most nights, we are at the point in the season, where we can play the waiting game. If there is a similar healthy option on your wire, it's probably a wise move to make the switch. Analysis: David Kerr

Max Scherzer threw 102 pitches in a minor-league game Tuesday. That's his final tune-up before Opening Day.

Scherzer finished the spring allowed just three earned runs over 20 innings while striking out 23 batter in that stretch. More importantly, he wrapped up his tune-up game with a full bill of health as he enters the season as one of the top fantasy pitchers to own. He should be drafted with ease no later than the third round in standard leagues.  Analysis: Matthew Beck

Phillies pitcher Ken Giles was removed from Tuesday's game with a trainer.

There has been no official word on the severity of the injury, but this is certainly not the type of news you want to hear regarding your best middle reliever. Be sure to check back as more news is released on the injury in the upcoming days.  Analysis: Matthew Beck

Manager Robin Ventura will wait till Thursday to reveal the Opening Day roster, but he did say Tuesday that J.B. Shuck has made the team as the fourth outfielder.

Although Shuck will get a fresh start with the White Sox, he is still stuck in a position where there is no telling what kind of playing time he will receive, just like his days with the Angels. With that said, he should be avoided outside of AL-only leagues until his role is determined.  Analysis: Matthew Beck

Corey Dickerson was scratched from Tuesday's game against the Giants because of back tightness.

Although Dickerson claims to be just fine, the Rockies didn't want to risk further injury with less than a week before Opening Day. However, this is certainly not encouraging for those still awaiting draft day as the uncertainty around his health has now started to come into play following his breakout season.  Analysis: Matthew Beck

Brewers announced that Rob Wooten has been optioned to Triple-A Colorado Springs.

Despite having a solid spring, posting a 1.26 ERA over 14 1/3 innings, the Brewers decided to demote Wooten to start the season. As long as he manages to pitch well in the minors there is no reason to think he won't be back in the big leagues soon.  Analysis: Matthew Beck

Kevin Pillar will start in left field until Michael Saunders is ready to return from a left knee injury.

After being named to the Opening Day roster last week, it appears the Blue Jays will also name him to the starting lineup while Michael Saunders is out. If he is able to prove himself in the absence of Saunders there could be more playing time for him to come, but he will need to do work at the plate before gaining any lasting fantasy value.  Analysis: Matthew Beck

Devon Travis has won the everyday second baseman job following his acquisition from Detroit this past offseason.

Travis has been on fire this spring, slashing .352/.397/.463 through 58 plate appearances and will not get a chance to make his big league debut. However, lets see him do it the big show before making him a fantasy option at the keystone in 2015.  Analysis: Matthew Beck

Bruce Rondon said he felt strong with no issues with his neck Tuesday.

Rondon was originally expected to pitch on Monday but had his bullpen session moved to Tuesday, which proved to be the right more for the Tigers. Unless his health takes a turn for the worst, expect to see Rondon in middle relief for the Tigers come Opening Day.  Analysis: Matthew Beck
