Chris Paul says he will play in Game Three on Thursday despite dealing with a hamstring injury.
If the Clippers want to be advance to the next round, they are going to need their floor general on the court, and Paul knows that. He was limited to just 27 minutes in Game 2, but that was a result of an extremely lopsided contest. Unless this game gets out of control as well, expect him to receive well over 30 minutes on Thursday in an effort to break the series tie in favor of the Clippers.ANALYST: Matthew Beck
George Springer went 2-for-4 with a double and one RBI in the Astros 6-2 loss to the Tigers on Friday.
Springer has now collected two hits in three straight games which has helped raise his average from .195 to .214 on the season. A concussion sidelined Springer in early May but he has played well since his return, hitting .282 with six runs, two home runs and four RBI. Fantasy owners will have to deal with the low batting average as Springer is once again on pace to rank among the league leaders in strikeouts but he’s already reached double-digit stole bases and could flirt with a 30/30 season given his potential.
