Blake Griffin bounces back in Game 2 win with a game-high 35 points, six rebounds, one assist, and two steals as the Clippers tied up the series with a 138-98 win over the Warriors Monday.
Griffen, who was held to just 16 points in only 19 minutes of Game One due to being in foul trouble most of the game and eventually fouling out brought his A-game Monday where he did registrar a single personal foul.ANALYST: Michael Pichan
Wandy Rodriguez allowed just one run on five hits and three walks with five strikeouts over five innings against the Angels on Friday.
Sigh. He’s like that bad penny you just can’t get rid of, no matter how hard you try. Just when you think Major League teams have had enough of him and his boring mediocrity, someone goes and brings good ol’ Wandy back from the dead. It’s difficult to imagine that he’ll last long with the Rangers, especially with the number of home runs he normally allows, but consider this the warning to stay away. This start may not look bad on the surface, but it’s just setting you up for something downright horrible in the future. He’ll get another start next week against the Mariners, but we cannot, in good conscience, recommend using him. Analysis: Howard Bender
