Patrick Beverley (knee) was cleared to play Game two for the Rockets.
It looks like the MRI came back clean and there is no additional damage to the meniscus. Beverley is now dealing with a sprained knee as well as a damaged meniscus which had originally kept him out for eight games towards the end of the regular season. You have to admire his desire to win and ability to withstand pain, but how effective he'll be on the floor in a playoff atmosphere could be a different story.ANALYST: Howard Bender
Colin Kaepernick has worked with Kurt Warner on his throwing mechanics this offseason.
Specifically, the story notes that Kaepernick is working on "engaging his lower half" to allow for better touch. It's hard to believe Kurt Warner would know more about throwing mechanics than Jim Harbaugh or any other quarterback coach Kap has ever worked with. This appears to be more fluff than anything else, though is reports from camp suggest there's been a real change to approach or delivery of throwing a football, it could be something worth remembering on draft day.
