Jose Abreu went 3-for-6 with two doubles, a home run, three RBI and two runs scored against the Rangers on Sunday.

Abreu's hot start to his rookie season continued on Sunday, raising his season totals to five homers and 17 RBI. He is now 5-for-9 the last two days, which is hopefully enough to end his first slump of the year, following a 1-for-25 stretch at the plate. There are going to be bumps in the road as he adjusts to the major leagues, but the good should outweigh the bad in the long run.
