LeBron James passed Larry Bird on the NBA's all-time playoff scoring list Sunday.

James is now 8th on the NBA's all-time career playoff scoring list with 3,898 points one more than Larry Bird after finishing Sunday's Game One win over the Bobcats with 27 points, nine rebounds, and an assist.ANALYST: Michael Pichan

Jordan McRae will join the 76ers' D-League affiliate.

McRae had been playing over in Australia for the Melbourne United of the NBL. In 27 games for Melbourne, McRae averaged 19.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.0 steals, and 0.9 blocks per game and could quickly find himself called up to the Sixers roster if he excels in the D-League.  Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Stephen Tulloch confirms he'll be back with Detroit Lions next season.

Tulloch is a key part of the Lions defense but he famously tore his ACL last season during a celebration which ended his season after three games. Tulloch does expect to be ready for the start of the 2015 season. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

LeBron James has made a subtle adjustment during his free-throw attempts.

James is hitting just 71.5-percent of his free-throws this season and missed an incredible eight free-throws in a recent two point loss to Houston Sunday which sparked plenty of criticism of the former MVP. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Bruce Rondon will throw live batting practice on Saturday.

Rondon is widely considered to be the Tigers future closer but needed Tommy John surgery in 2014 which stunted his major league progression. A power pitcher Rondon is expected to figure into the Tigers set up role in their bullpen this season but if Nathan once again struggles he could be given a look. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Joakim Soria will throw a bullpen session Thursday.

Soria was acquired last season by the Tigers as an insurance policy for the struggling Joe Nathan but he found himself getting injured just six games after being acquired which forced him to miss more than a month. In 13 games with the Tigers last season Soria went 1-1 with a 4.91 ERA after posting a 2.70 ERA with the Rangers prior to the trade. The Tigers expect Nathan to be their closer heading into the season which will mean Soria will once again be in a set up role. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Joba Chamberlain will throw a bullpen session Thursday.

Chamberlain has a bounce back season with the Tigers last year, going 2-5 with a 3.57 ERA over 69 appearances. Once a highly touted prospect Chamberlain was mismanaged by the Yankees and ultimately burnt out his arm but 2014 marked the first season his ERA was below 4.00 since 2011. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Jason Fox has re-signed with the Dolphins, per a team source.

Fox appeared in nine games for the Dolphins last season, making two starts. He is a six year NFL veteran having spent the previous five seasons in the Lions organization. Overall he has appeared in 22 games making five career starts. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Adam Wainwright was encouraged by his high-intensity bullpen session Thursday. He expects to throw live batting practice on Sunday.

Wainwright has been sidelined with an abdominal strain suffered during the first few days of camp but the live batting practice is a great sign for prospective owners who could end up taking Wainwright within the first few rounds of the draft. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Kyle Lowry is at the Raptors shoot around. He will travel with the team to Charlotte but there is no timetable for his return to action.

There is no reported injury behind Lowry's recent inactivity but if he misses the game against the Hornets it will make it four straight. In his absence the Raptors have been starting Greivis Vasquez at point guard with Lou Williams playing heavy minutes off the bench. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Pat Beverley (right foot sprain) is questionable for Friday's game against the Pistons.

If Beverly is unable to go it the Rockets will turn to Jason Terry to run the point. Terry as a starter this season is averaging 13.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 3.0 three-pointers per game. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Terrence Jones (lower back pain) is questionable for Friday's game against the Pistons.

Jones has been a beast for the Rockets of late, averaging 19.6 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.2 blocks over the last five games. If Jones is unable to start it would seem likely that Josh Smith would enter the starting lineup against his former team. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Broncos officially announce Peyton Manning will be back for 2015.

Manning and the Broncos reached an agreement on a new deal that will save Denver around $4 million off his original salary. Peyton really fell off towards the later part of the 2014 season as he dealt with numerous injuries but with new coach Gary Kubiak he will look to take Denver back to the Super Bowl. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Tim Collins, who left Wednesday's game with elbow tightness after facing just four hitters, will have an MRI on Thursday morning at a local hospital.

Elbow tightness is never a good sign for a pitcher and while his MRI will tell a better story typically this type of symptom is shortly followed by a visit to Dr. James Andrews whose known as the Tommy John specialist. Collins is a key part of the Royals bullpen but will have little fantasy impact outside of leagues that count holds. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Garrett Richards will probably throw to hitters as part of of his next mound session.

The Angels are hopeful that Richards will be ready for the start of the season after rupturing his left patellar tendon last season. As of now Richards is still a bit behind the rest of the Angels pitching staff but facing live batters will be the next hurdle to clear as he progresses. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

49ers hosted WRs Ted Ginn and Jerome Simpson on free-agent visits.

Ginn is nothing more than a return specialist who can easily improve the 49ers kickoff and punt return teams. Simpson is a talented down the field threat but has had many off the field problems which has likely turned teams away from signing him. Neither player is likely going to make a major offensive impact for the 49ers this season. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba
