Huston Street was unavailable on Saturday after throwing 31 pitches Friday night.

As a Street owner I could not be happier to the start of his year. On the season Huston is tied for the league lead in saves with 6 while striking out 9 over 7 innings of work.ANALYST: Jonathan Impemba

Mike Fiers will come on to pitch the third inning on Monday. He was expected to start on Tuesday.

Since the Astros have six starters, they can afford to bring Fiers in to help with tonight's game. Lance McCullers recorded just one out in the contest, forcing the team to turn to Fiers before tomorrow. Who knows how long he will go, but hopefully you had him in your starting lineup, so that you can log his stats. Analysis: Colby Conway

Update: Freddie Freeman left Monday night's game with a right oblique injury.

Boy, Freeman can't catch a break this season. After missing an extended amount of time with a wrist injury, Freeman could find himself back on the disabled list. There isn't any word yet on the severity of the strain, but he should be considered day-to-day moving forward. Chris Johnson has homered since replacing Freeman. Analysis: Colby Conway

Brad Harrah cleared waivers and was placed on injured reserve.

Harrah was an undrafted free agent, but a quad injury led to him being placed on injured reserve. Harrah wasn't going to be anymore than positional depth for the Giants in 2015. He won't be a factor in any IDP league this season. Analysis: Colby Conway

Jerry Lovelocke went unclaimed through waivers.

Lovelocke had been competing with Bryn Renner for the No. 3 QB spot on the Ravens. That position in Baltimore would likely be a practice squad player. Looks like Lovelocke will be searching for another home as training camps go on in August. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson

Cowboys signed LB LB Ka’Lial Glaud on Monday.

Glaud saw limited action with Tampa Bay in 2013, playing in seven games and collecting a couple of tackles. Keep an eye on the Dallas linebacking crew, as they brought in a couple of fresh bodies Monday, with Glaud and Jonathan Brown. Of course, both of those players are probably just for training camp depth unless they shine awfully bright in practice. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson

Cowboys signed LB Jonathan Brown on Monday.

Brown had been waived by the Cowboys at the end of July. He played his college ball for Illinois and was signed in 2014 as an undrafted free agent by the Cardinals. He will compete for a reserve linebacker role with the Cowboys in camp. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson

Cowboys G Reshod Fortenberry was waived/injured.

The rookie was carted off the field on Saturday with a reported left knee injury. He had impressed during mini-camp, but his season now looks to be over. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson

Update: Nets are waiving forward Earl Clark this week, obliging his plan to pursue a deal elsewhere.

Clark was signed to a multi-year contract but was free to work out with other teams this off-season, as the deal was only partially guaranteed. He has bounced around a bunch in his career since being signed as a lottery pick out of Louisville in 2009. Looks as though he is not yet ready to hang up the shoes, and will look to catch on somewhere else besides Brooklyn in 2015-16. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson

Matt Belisle (elbow) was transferred to the 60-day disabled list.

This is in response to the acquisition of reliever Steve Chisek from the Florida Marlins. Belisle had started a throwing program in July, but now is unavailable until rosters expand in September. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson

Stephen Hill (knee) cleared waivers and was placed on injured reserve.

He has a ACL injury, and is done for the season. The Panthers have reacted to Hill's injury by signing Paul Browning to provide depth at WR during camp. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson

Freddie Freeman left Monday's game with an apparent injury.

No word yet on what caused him to exit the game. Considering he came off the DL late in July with a wrist injury, this bears watching. Chris Johnson has replaced Freeman on the field and in the lineup. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson

Josh Reddick (back) could be available to pinch hit Monday.

His back is not stopping him from performing any baseball activities, thus his availability to pinch hit Monday night. The team is taking it easy on him. Sam Fuld will play in right field and bat seventh. Fuld has a value of $2600 on FanDuel Monday. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson

Robinson Chirinos (shoulder) got a PRP injection on Monday.

More players are opting for the platelet-rich plasma injections to stave off surgery and speed up healing. Chirinos was placed on the 15-day DL this past weekend, and is eligible to be activated on August 15, and Bobby Wilson and Tomas Telis will fill in behind the plate in his absence. Analysis: Ivar G.
