Huston Street earned his fifth save of the season after he tossed a scoreless ninth inning and preserved the Padres 4-2 win over the Rockies on Wednesday. He allowed one hit and struck out two.
Street is always an injury-risk, but when he is healthy there is no question he can be one of the best closers in the game. He is now a perfect 5-for-5 in save opportunities this season having yet to allow an earned run through 6.0 innings of work. ANALYST: Matthew Beck
Carlos Gonzalez (knee) was removed from Friday's game for precautionary reasons.
To borrow one from Adam Carolla: Sssssssssssssssssssssshocking. Gonzalez has managed just 717 plate appearances combined in the last two years, and fantasy owners are all too familiar with his health woes. When healthy in the last two seasons, he's struck out a fair bit more than he ever has before, so we can longer treat CarGo as a top option when healthy. There's definitely upside, but it's hard to imagine him reaching it. Analysis: Brett Talley
