Blake Griffin will not play Wednesday vs Portland. He will serve a one-game suspension for his 16th technical foul.
I'd expect Glen Davis to get the bulk of the minutes with the absence of Griffin from the Clippers lineup in Wednesday's finale. We could see other starters like Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan sit the bench tonight as well.ANALYST: Drew Phelps
Kosta Koufos will sign a four-year deal with the Kings.
According to initial reports, center Kosta Koufos will sign a four year $33 million dollar contract with the Sacramento Kings. Last year, Koufos averaged 5.2 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. But his value was more tied to his defense in which he was worth 2.5 win shares in less than 17 minutes per game. Analysis: Greg Jewett
Kenley Jansen was unavailable Saturday due to his recent workload.
Kenley Jansen pitched in three of the last four games for the Dodgers. In his last three appearance, Jansen has given up an earned run in outing including in the Dodgers loss to the Mets on Friday night in a non-save appearance. Jansen has a 1.93 ERA this season and a 1.21 FIP along with a 15.4 strikeouts per nine innings so a day of rest is the best for him long term. That and the manager using his in save opportunities. Update: Ryan Pressly left Saturday's game with a right shoulder strain.
After pitching an inning of relief on Saturday night, Ryan Pressly was forced to leave the game in the following inning due to a right shoulder strain. A beat writer from the Twins described Pressly as shaking his arm as he walked off the field. Specifics are not available regarding how serious the injury is but he may need an MRI to determine the severity of the injured shoulder. Analysis: Greg Jewett
