Tim Lincecum allowed one run on five hits with no walks and five strikeouts against the Dodgers on Tuesday.
Tuesday's performance was by far Lincecum's best outing of the season, after allowing 11 earned-runs in his previous two starts combined. A high pitch count forced him out of the game after only five innings, but this was an encouraging outing from the former Cy Young winner nonetheless. Lincecum will be in search of his first win of the season when he takes on the Padres on Sunday.
