Mat Latos' MRI showed a strained right forearm, he won't be able to throw for 10-14 days.
More pitching bad news for fantasy owners and yet another example of why you don't draft pitching early. Latos was supposed to be back by the end of April and now with a two-week shutdown, we could be looking at end of May given the work he still need to put in. Dropping him is a tough move, so you'll have to burn a DL spot for a little while if you can. If your DL spots are limited, you'll have to start making some tough choices.ANALYST: Howard Bender
Indians optioned P Josh Tomlin to Triple-A Columbus.
Tomlin has some upside if he can repeat his 8.13 K/9 from last season, but home runs will likely always be an issue. Tomlin has allowed 1.41 HR/9 over his big league career, far too high for him to be a consistent fantasy producer. He will almost certainly be in the rotation at some point and could even get the call up before Danny Salazar even though Salazar has far more upside for fantasy. Analysis: Steve Pimental
