Jamal Crawford will play and come off the bench on Saturday.
Crawford missed the last five games with a calf injury, but the Clippers are going to let him see some time on the court here at the end of the regular season despite the fact that they are a virtual lock for the No. 3 seed with no chance of moving up. Crawford likely won't see his regular minutes so you may want to continue using whomever you've had substituting for him over the last week or so.ANALYST: Howard Bender
Phillies recalled Cody Asche from Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
The Phillies seem ready to commit to Asche as their new starting left fielder which certainly gums up the outfield configuration for veterans like Ben Revere, Grady Sizemore and Jeff Francoeur. It also displaces Darin Ruf. While they may be happy with the defensive work he did down in the minors, Asche's bat never really heated up, so the team is still going to have some serious offensive woes. This plan may have looked good on paper, but it should be re-visited in a couple of weeks to see how things are panning out. Analysis: Howard Bender
