Josh Hamilton (thumb) is expected to be placed on the disabled list with the team recalling J.B. Shuck from Triple-A Salt Lake.
Just when things were starting to go right for the former MVP, now he gets hurt, which should come as no surprise seeing as he is made out of glass. Shuck makes for an interesting add in deeper leagues as he has shown a propensity to hit for a decent average, in limited playing time, and has some stolen base upside, just do not be looking to him to replace the power you lost with Hamilton going out. Derrick Rose will not play against the Bucks Wednesday.
Rose was doing full-contact drills Monday and participating in 5-on-5 work Tuesday. He's building up his conditioning and it shouldn't be much longer before he's back on the court. How many minutes he logs per game once he does return might be in question as the Bulls are looking more towards the playoffs than anything else. Analysis: Howard Bender
Terrence Jones (ribs, lung) wil play Wednesday.
Jones has missed the last six games with a collapsed lung, so to see him get back on the court Wednesday is great news just from a humanistic standpoint. If he can continue to shine glass as he's done throughout the season (7.3 boards per game), then he'll be a nice asset down the stretch. Analysis: Howard Bender
