White Sox have signed Tommy Hanson to minor league deal.

It's a low-risk move for the White Sox and probably not one that will come to fruition unless the team gets decimated with injuries and incredibly desperate. Hanson posted a 5.42 ERA with a 1.55 WHIP over 73 innings for the Angels last year and never looked comfortable on the mound. His strikeout rate fell, his walks were up and he pitched to a whole lot of contact during the year. He'll spend most, if not all of his time with Triple-A Charlotte.ANALYST: Howard Bender Mobile App
