White Sox have signed Tommy Hanson to minor league deal.
It's a low-risk move for the White Sox and probably not one that will come to fruition unless the team gets decimated with injuries and incredibly desperate. Hanson posted a 5.42 ERA with a 1.55 WHIP over 73 innings for the Angels last year and never looked comfortable on the mound. His strikeout rate fell, his walks were up and he pitched to a whole lot of contact during the year. He'll spend most, if not all of his time with Triple-A Charlotte.ANALYST: Howard Bender
Brian Dozier was 1-for-4 with a triple and an RBI on Saturday.
Brian Dozier keeps on getting extra base hits and today, his triple in the seventh inning provided the go ahead run for the Twins as they beat the Blue Jays 3-2 on Saturday. With the triple, Dozier now has 26 extra base hits and is slugging .500 for the season as a second baseman. He is also second in the American League in runs scored with 38 on the season while hitting nine home runs as well. His blend of power and speed make him a great target in fantasy.
