Fantasy Player Updates & News  2016 MLB Draft Guide Is Here!

Wilson Chandler said he will know "in a couple of days" if he'll shut it down for the remaining games of the season as he deals with an injured groin/hip.

He mine as well as the Nuggets are out of the playoff race. In the meantime Quincy Miller will continue to get the start, but until he starts seeing 25-plus minutes on a consistent basis you can ignore Q in must all formats. ANALYST: Michael Pichan

Dante Cunningham will start Saturday against the Cavaliers.

Cunningham has been seeing an increase in playing time of late, with 32 minutes on Thursday against the Lakers. He is not anything to count on in terms of fantasy scoring, so ignore him unless you are desperate for a big man. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson

Tyreke Evans will remain out through the All-Star break with knee tendinitis.

That will be his sixth straight game sitting out with the knee issue. Norris Cole and Bryce Dejean-Jones are figured to be the starting backcourt for the Pelicans on Saturday against the Cavaliers on the road. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson

MRI on Jimmy Butler confirmed a left knee strain. His timetable depends on his response to treatment.

He suffered a knee sprain on Friday night, and it should be anticipated that he will sit out until after All-Star break is completed. The trio of E'Twaun Moore, Tony Snell, and Doug McDermott are due to see an uptick in playing time, and once Mike Dunleavy returns, the absence of Butler will not be felt as severely. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson

Update: Nene (calf) will not play Saturday.

The Wizards are thin in the forecourt, now with Hilario out as well as Kris Humphries. He was a game-time decision earlier, but the pre-game shootaround appear to have shown his lack of capacity to play on Saturday. Jared Dudley and Drew Gooden will be asked to carry on in place of the injured Wizards. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson

Timofey Mozgov will start at center Saturday.

Mozgov has been used off the bench this season, so this starting nod due to Kevin Love's absence from the starting lineup will be an opportunity for him to show what he can provide. While he could bust out Saturday, you would be well served to look elsewhere for center help. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson

T.J. McConnell will start Saturday against the Nets.

McConnell will get the start with Ish Smith not playing on Saturday. Kendall Marshall will also see an uptick in playing time with Smith sitting out.  Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson

Kevin Love (thigh) will not play Saturday against the Pelicans.

The thigh contusion he suffered on Friday is serious enough to keep him out of action on Saturday against the Pelicans at home. With Love out of action, the duo of Tristan Thompson and Timofey Mozgov should be relied upon to fill in the missing minutes Love will not provide. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson

Nene (left calf) is a game-time decision Saturday.

Hilario could help build up the front court in Washington, with Kris Humphries not likely to play. Game time decision is a better chance than his earlier questionable status. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson

Bradley Beal will play Saturday against the Hornets.

Beal offers points but little else for his fantasy owners. While the 18.3 PPG average in 2015/16 is helpful, the lack of a consistent point production line is death in fantasy. Ignore him unless you are in a league that values scoring baskets overall. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson

Matthew Dellavedova (hamstring) will not play on Saturday.

This will amount to his third straight game on the bench with an injury. Mo Williams and to a lesser extent, Kyrie Irving, will be relied upon to pick up the absent minutes offered by Dellavedova. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson

Ian Mahinmi (back) will return to the starting lineup Saturday against the Pistons.

He is coming back, without a minutes limit, for the game at home against Detroit and Andre Drummond. The back issue that forced him to miss four consecutive games is apparently a past issue. The trio of Jordan Hill, Myles Turner and Lavoy Allen will see their minutes diminished with Mahinmi back in action. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson

Ben McLemore (wrist) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Celtics.

He has been putting up reserve minutes, so he should not be on your DFS radar unless you need a super value at shooting guard. Do not be planning on him being active on Sunday, however, and make other plans potentially targeting Marco Belinelli who would most probably start in place of McLemore. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson

Rudy Gay (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Celtics.

His original day-to-day status has been downgraded to doubtful, so you should not count on him to participate in the Sunday game against Boston. Omri Casspi is the likely option to take Gay's place on Sunday, for your daily leagues. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson

Allen Crabbe (illness) has been ruled out of Saturday's game against the Rockets.

Crabbe has a case of gastritis, and will miss the game on Saturday against Houston. Al Farouq-Aminu and C.J McCollum should get additional court time, and perhaps Gerald Henderson will also see a bump in playing time. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson
