DeMarcus Cousins with one of the top lines of the night with 32 points, 15 boards, eight assists, two steals, and two blocks in the loss to the Knicks.
Boogie was beat'em down Wednesday night as he was also a perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw line, but as usual it was not enough as the Kings fell to 25-46 on the season. The double-double was Cousins 45th of the season, which tied him for second most with Dwight Howard (in seven fewer games) among centers behind Andre Drummond (48).ANALYST: Michael Pichan
Ryan Ludwick has been told he will not make the Rangers.
Ludwick is considering his options at the moment, which include going down to Triple-A until the big league club needs his services, or requesting a release and looking for another team that can offer him a spot on the 25-man roster. No matter what happens, though, he is not going to be fantasy relevant. Ludwick's calling card is power, but he last hit over 20 home runs in 2012 with 26 (and before that was in 2009), and the now-36 year old is only losing power potential at this point. Brady Aiken announced Thursday that he had Tommy John surgery.
This is unfortunate for Aiken as he now probably wishes that he signed with the Astros last summer after being the number one pick in last year's draft. Instead, he suffered an arm injury last week and will now be on the shelf for the next year. He still has a high ceiling, but his overall value is definitely diminished at this point.
