Rams officially report signings of CB Greg Reid and LB Etienne Sabino.

Reid has had a tumultuous path to the pros as he was kicked off the Florida State Seminoles team before he could play in his fourth and final year there, while playing out his final year of eligibility at a Division II school he tore his ACL that required a second surgery which caused him to miss the 2013 NFL Draft. Reid was on pace to break Deion Sanders school punt return record before being booted by the program, so there is some upside with Reid. Sabino is a second year UDFA who did play in a game with the Giants last year.ANALYST: Michael Pichan

Corey Brewer (left oblique strain) is probable for Saturday's game.

This report is actually referring to Brewer being listed as probably for Friday night's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Now, core injuries are difficult to play through and, as Brewer's two-points-in-27-minutes performance in last night's game showed us, even harder to be productive with. Leave Brewer on the bench in all formats until he's completely healthy again. Analysis: Brad Costilo

Josh Smith (right ankle sprain) is probable for Saturday's game.

Smith played through this ankle sprain yesterday, putting up a nine point, four rebound, one assist, one block line in 24 minutes. With the ankle still bothering him, it's completely reasonable to expect similar production from him in tonight's game. Analysis: Brad Costilo

Dwight Howard (knee) is probable for Saturday's game.

Howard was limited in his return to action last night, putting up a four point, seven rebound, two assist, one block stat-line in 16-minutes. While you will want to have him in your lineup in season-long leagues (assuming he's on your team), it's probably best not to pay top-dollar to have him in your DFS lineup until he's completely healthy. Analysis: Brad Costilo

Conor Gillaspie said his plantar fasciitis isn't much of an issue any more.

Gillaspie, who hit .282 with seven home-runs and 57 RBIs in 130 games in 2014, is expected to be the starting third baseman (as well as a back-up first baseman) for the Chisox in 2015. While he didn't post an exciting stat-line in 2014, you should keep in mind that Gillaspie has hit more than 10 home-runs in a season three different times (in triple-A and in the MLB) and could be a decent late-round corner-infield option for you on draft day (current Average Draft Position is 432nd overall). Analysis: Brad Costilo

Bryce Harper is not in the Nationals starting lineup Thursday due to a stomach bug.

All reports indicate that this stomach issue is nothing to worry about, and you can continue to draft Harper as you normally would. Harper's current Average Draft Position has him coming off of the board 30th overall, which means that despite missing 129 games in his first three seasons at the MLB level due to injury (and not living up to his other-worldly expectations when in the lineups) fantasy owners are still drafting him based on those lofty expectations.  Analysis: Brad Costilo

Alex Cobb could start a throwing program as early as this weekend.

In an interview yesterday Cobb said that his forearm pain is "pretty much gone," and went on to say that "I can't even make it hurt." This is good news for Cobb, who has the talent to be a top-25 fantasy pitcher (if he can ever manage to remain healthy). In his four-year MLB career, Cobb has appeared in 81 games and posted a 35-23 record with a 3.21 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 426 strikeouts in 498 2/3 innings pitched. That being said, Cobb's current Average Draft Position of 92nd overall (21st pitcher) is just too high for a pitcher who is a walking injury risk, that's only about to begin his latest return from injury. Analysis: Brad Costilo

The Reds acquired Astros 1B Dan Johnson in exchange for a player to be named later or cash.

After appearing in 317 games at the MLB-level from 2005-2007, the 35-year-old Johnson has basically become a career minor-leaguer (appearing in only 114 MLB games versus 686 minor-league games over the last seven seasons). This change of organization does nothing to change the fact that Johnson is a fantasy non-entity. Analysis: Brad Costilo

Padres placed C Tim Federowicz on the 60-day disabled list.

This move shouldn't have any impact in the world of fantasy, as the 27-year-old Federowicz has been dreadful at the MLB-level, hitting .194 with no home-runs or stolen bases in 89 games over the last four seasons. Analysis: Brad Costilo

Padres claimed RHP Jandel Gustave off outright waivers from the Kansas City Royals.

The 22-year-old Gustave is coming off a brutal 2014 season in which he had a 5.01 ERA and a 1.56 WHIP in his first season at full-A ball. Clearly, the Padres believe that his 2013 season in which he had a 2.68 ERA and a 1.40 WHIP at the rookie ball level is indicative of the kind of pitcher Gustave could become. Analysis: Brad Costilo

Delmon Young is an option in the OF according to manager Buck Showalter.

People are very quick to forget that Delmon Young was the top prospect in all of baseball about a decade ago, and that he has had some periods of solid production at the MLB-level (hit .298 with 21 home-runs and 112 RBIs with the Twins in 2010). When you add in the fact that Delmon is still only 29-years-old, it's easy to see why some people are looking at him as a solid late-round flier in their 2015 fantasy drafts. Analysis: Brad Costilo

The Phillies acquired SS Devin Lohman from the Reds for future considerations.

Lohman has spent the last two seasons batting under .250 at the Double-A level with minimal power and average speed. He'll provide depth for the Phillies who are trying to re-stock their middle infield depth which is relatively weak from the majors all the way down. Analysis: Howard Bender

Johnny Cueto returned to Reds camp Thursday.

Cueto was back in the Dominican Republic tending to some unknown personal matter. Now that he is back, he should still be able to make two spring starts and be ready for Opening Day. Analysis: Howard Bender

Yankees C Austin Romine was scratched From Thursday's game with food poisioning.

Anyone who has ever had food poisoning knows that this is nothing to joke about. Not only does it take everything out of you and leave you completely dehydrated but it's also one of the more degrading ailments of all-time with it coming out of you from both ends. Our deepest sympathies go out to Romine and we wish for him nothing but peace, tranquility, breath mints and two-ply toilet paper.  Analysis: Howard Bender

Update: Rodney Stuckey (calf) ruled out for Thursday's game.

Shocker! He was held out of Wednesday game after having an MRI so missing Thursday was almost a no-brainer. C.J. Miles and Solomon Hill will fill the gap. Analysis: Howard Bender

Cody Zeller (shoulder) is questionable for Friday.

Zeller has now missed the last three games and seven of the last eight due to this nagging shoulder issue. The Hornets are calling him day-to-day but there's really no timetable set for his return. Marvin Williams should continue to fill in for him. Analysis: Howard Bender
