Fantasy Player Updates & News  2016 MLB Draft Guide Is Here!

After spending the night in the hospital, Pau Gasol has been diagnosed as having had vertigo. He is being listed as doubtful for Tuesday’s game with the Knicks.

Such a strange sickness, but it could not have come at worst time for fantasy owners as it is playoff time in most leagues. Do not start him in weekly lineup leagues as this is something that has no timetable for a return.ANALYST: Mark Kaplan

The Baltimore Orioles are ‘one of several teams’ that have expressed interest in free-agent SP Tim Lincecum.

Lincecum hasn't seen success since 2011 but teams continue to believe he has something left in the tank. The Orioles are in desperate need for pitching, so taking a flyer on an ex-Cy Young award winner isn't the worst idea.  Analysis: James Grande

Kobe Bryant (shoulder) is expected to play Saturday.

Damn straight Bryant's expected to suit up Saturday, he's playing like he's 25 again. Over his last three games, Bean has averaged 29.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 2.0 steals per game. He's clearly taken a dip in the fountain of youth and the shoulder hasn't seemingly bothered him one bit. It's no surprise he is suffering from a shoulder injury at this point of his career with the amount of shots he's put up over his illustrious 20-year career.  Analysis: James Grande

Allen Hurns (abdomen) is feeling better after surgery to repair a sports hernia he sustained in Week 3.

Hurns played through a sports hernia injury throughout the whole season and was able to top 1,000 yards and scored 10 touchdowns. Without a hernia injury slowing him down, he should be able to repeat and surpass 2015's numbers. The Jaguars offense as a whole is going to be a very hot commodity in everyone's fantasy drafts next season.  Analysis: James Grande

Jets signed former CFL DL Freddie Bishop to a two-year deal.

After an 11 sack season with the Calgary Stampeders last season, Bishop received a lot of interest from a bunch of different NFL teams. Bishop will likely get a chance to play a lot of snaps after the Jets released former first-round pick Quinton Coples and Calvin Pace is a pending free agent. Bishop is just 26-years old, so he has plenty of good football ahead of him. Analysis: James Grande

Kemba Walker said he feels pretty good and is probable for Friday's game.

Walker missed Wednesday's game but was able to practice on Thursday and came out feeling good, so he'll likely suit up for Friday's game. If he isn't effective or aggravates his knee again, Jeremy Lin will see extended run.  Analysis: James Grande

James McAdoo will not play Saturday.

McAdoo has played sparingly all year, so his loss isn't a very big factor. In 25 appearances, McAdoo has only averaged 5.9 minutes and 2.3 points per game. Analysis: James Grande

Festus Ezeli will not play Saturday.

The Warriors haven't skipped a beat without Ezeli over the last four games. He's probably going to miss his fifth straight on Saturday due to a knee injury. With Ezeli out, Marreese Speights has seen an uptick in minutes. Analysis: James Grande

Kevin Garnett is doubtful for Saturday.

Like teammate Kevin Martin, Garnett will likely miss his seventh consecutive game on Saturday. With Nikola Pekovic also likely to miss Saturday's game, Karl-Anthony Towns and Gorgui Dieng will play big minutes. Shabazz Muhammad could also see extended run if the team decides to play small ball. Analysis: James Grande

Kevin Martin is doubtful for Saturday.

Martin will likely miss his seventh consecutive game on Saturday due to a wrist injury. Zach LaVine will continue to see extended minutes in Martin's absence.  Analysis: James Grande

Nikola Pekovic is doubtful for Saturday.

Pekovic is dealing with a foot injury that's kept him out of two straight games and he's likely to miss his third on Saturday. Gorgui Dieng has been great lately, so the Timberwolves aren't really missing Pekovic that much. He obviously provides front-court depth, but he has no fantasy value and nobody should be relying on him in any type of format. Analysis: James Grande

Update: Jimmy Butler (knee) said he will play against the Nuggets on Friday.

If you thought Jimmy Butler would miss two consecutive you don't watch the Bulls very often. Butler is a machine and won't miss time unless he has a major injury. The Bulls snuck a win without Butler on Wednesday thanks to E'Twaun Moore, but the Bulls need Jimmy Buckets. Butler should be one of your stud plays if you go that rout in DFS. Analysis: James Grande

Mike Dunleavy will not play Friday but is hopeful to return on Saturday.

Dunleavy has yet to appear in a game this season after getting a back procedure done during the offseason. The Bulls have missed his presence and haven't been able to find a steady replacement at small-forward. Dunleavy's obviously going to be worked into the lineup slowly, but his ability to stretch the floor is what can take the Bulls offense from good to great. He's not much of fantasy candidate, but he's going to help Chicago tremendously. Analysis: James Grande

Angels have claimed LHP Christian Friedrich off waivers from Colorado.

Back in 2008, Friedrich was selected in the first-round of the amateur draft. That was absolutely the high point in his professional career as he's stunk in all three of his big league stints. He's pitched to a 5.81 ERA over his career. He's still only 24 and more importantly he's a lefty and EVERYONE loves lefties. Analysis: James Grande

Marshawn Lynch is unlikely to return to the Seahawks in 2016, according to NFL Network commentator Michael Robinson who is close friends with Lynch.

Heading into the 2015 season, we weren't sure if we'd see Lynch again, so it's not shocking that we're sitting in the same situation in 2016. Especially after a year full of injuries and a backup running back ready to take the reigns. It's likely we've seen the last of Marshawn Lynch in Seattle, maybe in any jersey. Time for the Thomas Rawls era in Seattle to begin. Analysis: James Grande

Update: Jimmy butler (knee) is probable for Friday.

Since this update, Butler has been cleared and will play in Friday's game. His knee is feeling well enough for him to give it a go. Butler should be one of your studs in DFS. Analysis: James Grande
