Nationals proposed a multiyear contract to star shortstop Ian Desmond, believed to be for about $90 million, that Desmond turned down sometime during the winter, sources say.

Matt Moore (Tommy john Surgery) was able to throw a bullpen session Tuesday, as he continues his rehab.

Moore remains on-schedule in his rehab and could be considered a draft-and-stash, candidate for those looking for second-half options. However, while there's no denying his talent level prior to surgery, it's difficult to rely on him immediately upon his return. Pitchers often need extra time to knock the rust off and regain their command on top of their velocity. Analysis: Howard Bender

Jake McGee (elbow) was able to throw a bullpen session Tuesday, as he continues his rehab.

McGee continues to work his way back and is still on-schedule for a later April return. He'll stay in extended spring training once camp breaks and should be throwing at full-strength soon enough. The real question is whether he will be able to reclaim the closer's role from Brad Boxberger or if manager Kevin Cash will opt to use him in more of a lefty set-up role. Analysis: Howard Bender

Rays pitcher Alex Colome (illness) was able to throw a bullpen session Tuesday, as he continues his rehab.

Colome was late to spring training due to visa issues but then ended up hospitalized with pneumonia shortly after reporting to camp. It's going to take some time for him to regain his stamina, but with a stint in extended spring training, he is likely to be ready before the end of April. Analysis: Howard Bender

With a couple of mediocre starts this spring, major league scouts are showing concern regarding Masahiro Tanaka's velocity.

Well that's certainly turned over the last few weeks. When spring training began, there was all sorts of talk to how great Tanaka looked, but now that he's been hit around a little, most recently by the Twins, people are showing some concern. On scout did concede that it was the spring and he was willing to give Tanaka the benefit of the doubt based on last year's performance, but the growing concern is legitimate. Tanaka opted for rest and rehab for his partially-torn UCL this offseason rather than the Tommmy John surgery he likely needs. We've warned you off him these past few months, and now we're starting to hear more joining our crusade. Leave him be for your fellow owners. Maybe he starts the season strong, but how long is he going to hold up? The outlook doesn't seem good. Analysis: Howard Bender

DeAndre Jordan scored only five points (1-5 FGA, 3-6 FTA) with 15 rebounds and three blocks in Tuesday's 110-106 loss to the Warriors.

After logging five consecutive double-doubles, Jordan was unable to get anything going on the offensive side of the court as he managed to connect on just one field goal. However, he was still able to reach double digits in rebounds, as he has yet to record less than 10 rebounds in the month of March (16 games) as he continues to be one of the best defenders in the league.  Analysis: Matthew Beck

Chris Paul scored 27 points (7-17 FGA, 12-12 FTA) going 1-for-6 from three-point range with two rebounds, nine assists and one steal in Tuesday's 110-106 loss to the Warriors.

Paul has now gone over 20 points in four of his last five games as he continues to finish the regular season on a high-note. Despite the return of Blake Griffin, Paul's offensive production has yet to take a hit, which only adds to his steadily climbing fantasy value this year and beyond.  Analysis: Matthew Beck

Blake Griffin scored a game-high 40 points (16-25 FGA, 8-8 FTA) with 12 rebounds, five assists, one steal and three blocks in Tuesday's 110-106 loss to the Warriors.

Griffin took full advantage of David Lee in the absence of Draymond Green on Tuesday night as he logged his best game since returning from injury two weeks prior. However, the Clippers have a well balanced offense so nights like this should not become expected from Griffin the rest of the way.  Analysis: Matthew Beck

David Lee scored 17 points (8-12 FGA, 1-2 FTA) with seven rebounds and one assist in Tuesday's 110-106 win over the Clippers.

Lee was granted a rare start on Tuesday night with Draymond Green nursing a shin injury and was able to be productive in the Warriors win. Although this was nice to see from the Warriors veteran, once Green is back from injury Lee will be sent back to the bench were his production has been mediocre at best this season.  Analysis: Matthew Beck

Stephen Curry scored a team-high 27 points (8-15 FGA, 7-7 FTA) going 4-for-6 form three-point range with one rebound, four assists and one steal in Tuesday's 110-106 win over the Clippers.

In a battle of some of the best point guards in the league, Curry came out on top as he was able to lead the Warriors to their 16th win in the month of March. He finished March averaging 24.0 points, 3.1 rebounds, 7.8 assists,m 1.8 steals and 4.4 three-pointers as he remains an elite fantasy option this year and beyond.  Analysis: Matthew Beck

Klay Thompson scored a 25 points (8-21 FGA, 6-7 FTA) going 3-for-7 from three-point range with eight rebounds, four assists and one steal in Tuesday's 110-106 win over the Clippers.

Thompson has now scored 20 or more points in three straight games as he continues to try and pick up the pace as the regular season comes to an end, Following a leg injury in the second half, Thompson hasn't been able to match his first half numbers, but nights like this remind us of what he is capable of, making him one of the better shooting guards to own in all formats.  Analysis: Matthew Beck

Dwayne Wade scored 15 points (6-20 FGA, 2-2 FTA) going 1-for-3 from three-point range with five rebounds and one assist in Tuesday's 95-81 loss to the Spurs.

Wade took a step back on Tuesday night after dropping 40 points his last time out, but still managed to put up a solid line for his fantasy owners. He is now averaging 21.7 points, 3.6 rebounds and 5.0 assists through 55 games, which is more than enough to keep him in starting lineups across the board.  Analysis: Matthew Beck
