Isaiah Thomas finished with a game-high 18 points along with three rebounds, four assists, and a steal in losing effort to the Spurs.
Thomas streak of four games of 20 or more points came to end on Friday. He was still able to put up 18 points despite struggling from beyond the arc for the second consecutive game. Thomas has made just two of his last 10 attempts from 3-point land over his last two games, including going 0-for-3 Friday. ANALYST: Michael Pichan
Carlos Gonzalez (knee) was removed from Friday's game for precautionary reasons.
To borrow one from Adam Carolla: Sssssssssssssssssssssshocking. Gonzalez has managed just 717 plate appearances combined in the last two years, and fantasy owners are all too familiar with his health woes. When healthy in the last two seasons, he's struck out a fair bit more than he ever has before, so we can longer treat CarGo as a top option when healthy. There's definitely upside, but it's hard to imagine him reaching it. Analysis: Brett Talley
Delino DeShields is nearing a spot on the Rangers Opening Day roster.
DeShields was a Rule 5 pick, so it appears the Rangers will hold on to him rather than send him back down I-45 to Houston. DeShields will likely serve as a fifth outfielder and a late game situational player where Texas can utilize his speed. Unless the Rangers have another rash of injuries this year, DeSheilds isn't going to get enough work to be fantasy relevant. Analysis: Brett Talley
