The Raiders are expected to trade a 2014 late-round pick to the Texans for QB Matt Schaub.
The Raiders don't know what they want at the quarterback position, and acquiring Schaub is only going to complicate things even more. Although he has the most experience among the quarterbacks on the Raiders roster, a starting role is no guarantee. Even if he starts, his fantasy value will be limited by the inconsistency of the Raiders offense and his turnover-prone ways. ANALYST: Matthew Beck
Joffrey Lauvergne practiced in full Thursday.
Lauvergne has missed the last 12 games due to a back injury but was back practicing in full on Thursday. It's a great sign for the second year pro who played well when he was healthy. He started the three games he played so we will wait and see if that's what Denver has in store for him when he returns to the lineup. Analysis: James Grande
Johnny Manziel was demoted because he lied about were he was.
When video surfaced of Manziel out partying, you just knew that head coach Mike Pettine had enough of this far-too scrutinized situation. Manziel has been a veritable nightmare for the coaches and continues to show a complete lack of maturity. Josh McCown will get the start in Week 12 and, barring injury, is likely the full-time starter moving forward. Analysis: Howard Bender
