Cole Hamels just threw a 33 pitch bullpen session and said he felt good.
Encouraging? Slightly, but certainly nothing to get excited about. Whether he feels fine initially isn't going to increase his timetable just yet as the team will be very cautious with him moving forward. He'll remain on-track for an early May return.ANALYST: Howard Bender
Miguel Castro will open the season in the majors.
Castro flew under the radar in the minors last season, but is making the rare jump from A-Ball to the majors. This is thanks to his (likely) temporary move to the bullpen for the Spring, which enabled his stuff to tick up a bit in shorter outings. He's likely next in line to receive saves should Brett Cecil fail, and the 20-year old is worth keeping an eye on. Analysis: Ben Diamond
