The Patriots are working on a deal with free-agent WR Julian Edelman.

If Edelman was to remain with the Patriots, it would be great news for the team and for quarterback Tom Brady. After many dropped balls by inexperienced wideouts, Brady tuned to Edelman to be is workhorse, resulting in his best season of his career. Usually what Brady wants, Brady gets so expect him to stay in town at least for one more season. ANALYST: Matthew Beck

Royals and Mike Moustakas have agreed on a two-year, $14.3 million deal.

After batting .284 with 22 home runs and 82 RBIs and his first All-Star appearance in 2015, Moustakas is going to a receive a nice bump in pay over the next two years. Assuming he is able to sustain the same type of production over the next two seasons, Moustakas will be in line for a multi-year deal once his current contract expires. Analysis: David Kerr

A trainer is treating John Wall's right knee on the bench as the team warms up for the second half.

It seemed as though Wall may have tweaked his knee during the first half of Thursday's game, but it doesn't appear to be anything major. He was able to start the second half and should be fine for the remainder of Washington's game against the Bucks. Analysis: David Kerr

Yankees have talked to Ike Davis about minor league deal.

Davis was once a promising prospect and even has a 30 home run season under his belt but his inability to hit lefties has made him a platoon player over the past few seasons. Joining the Yankees could give him some fantasy relevance as a stream play seeing how well power hitting lefties fair at Yankee Stadium. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Update: Ryan Anderson is back on the bench with a protective sleeve on his right elbow.

His return to the bench is good news for the Pelicans and his DFS owners as he should be good to return to the game. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Tyreke Evans underwent successful surgery Thursday on his right knee. Evans will miss the remainder of the 2015-16 season..

This is surprising news and certainly tough news for Evans and his fantasy owners. Norris Cole and Jrue Holiday will get a major boost in value with Evans done for the year. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Ryan Anderson is headed to the locker room.

Anderson went into the locker room but quickly re-emerged with an arm sleeve and is ok to go back into the game. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Yankees sent Lane Adams outright to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Adams had cleared waivers earlier in the day and was invited to spring training. He will offer some outfield depth during camp but is not expected to make an impact on the opening day roster. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Rockies invited non-roster RHP Shane Carle to spring training.

Carle made 26 starts for Double-A New Britain last season, going 14-7 with a 3.48 ERA while striking out 103 over 166.1 innings. He made one start at Triple-A, allowing six earned runs over six innings. He will likely just be a camp body for the Rockies will little chance of making the roster. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Colts expect Dwayne Allen to leave in free agency.

Allen has been a solid red zone target for the Colts but he had been in a time share with Coby Fleener during his years with the Colts. He will have a chance to sign with a team who is looking to use him as their No.1 TE in the offseason. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Alonzo Gee is in the Pelicans starting lineup on Thursday.

The Pelicans have been starting Bryce DeJean-Jones at shooting guard with Tyreke Evans out of the lineup but DeJean-Jones had his 10-day contract expire at midnight last night and he has yet to sign a new deal while he negotiates with multiple teams for a more permanent deal. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba
