Grant Balfour felt really good after throwing on Wednesday. Balfour reported a dead arm after his last outing.
While the jury is still out, this is a step in the right direction for Balfour who is slated to be the Rays closer this season. I would need to see some successful game action from Balfour before I would consider risking a pick on him this year. ANALYST: Michael Pichan
Bryce Harper went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in the Nationals 3-0 win over the Cubs on Wednesday.
Harper launched his 18th home run of the season on Wednesday as the power everybody expected Harper to have has finally arrived. At 22 years old Harper is currently the best hitting in baseball, sporting a .333 average with 41 runs, 18 home runs and 43 RBI to go with an insane .472 OBP and 1.222 OPS. It may have taken him a bit longer than many had expected since being on the cover of Sports Illustrated at just 16 years old but baseball fans everywhere should take notice as he is finally showing the world just how talented he is.
