Donte Whitner agrees to 4-year, $28 million deal with the Browns.
The Browns have officially moved on from potential franchise defender T.J. Ward as Whitner slides into Ward's strong safety role. Something tells me that Ward was no longer interested in coming back to Cleveland when he heard Denver was interesting in his services. Whitner is a still a young (28) above-average safety. ANALYST:
Whitner will join Joe Haden in the Browns' backfield, and rumors are swirling that the Browns could be in on the Darelle Revis sweepstakes as well. Looks like the Browns are intending to field the best defensive backfield the game has ever seen. ANALYST: Ray Flowers
Kris Humphries (knee) practiced Tuesday.
This was the second consecutive day of practice for Humphries which hopefully is a good sign that he'll return to the court soon. He is officially listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Knicks, but it looks like he could be available for this one. The Wizards could also still take the cautious approach and let him rest through the All Star break and bring him back after. Even if he does play on Tuesday, he has no fantasy value as he'll be competing for minutes with a loaded front court. Analysis: Drew Phelps
Bradley Beal will start Tuesday and play about 30 minutes.
The Wizards young talented shooting guard looks to finally be getting healthy. Beal poured in 22 points, two rebounds, three assists and three 3-pointers in 20 minutes of bench action against the Hornets on Saturday. Washington is slowly working him back into game shape and he'll get a chance to rest with the upcoming All Star break. Analysis: Drew Phelps
Tim Duncan will not play Tuesday.
The Spurs are playing it safe with their aging star and give him an extra day to rest his sore knee. Some thought he might play after being upgraded to questionable on Monday but now it appears they may just let him sit through the All Star break. David West will get the start on Tuesday. Analysis: Drew Phelps
Hassan Whiteside is questionable for Tuesday.
He will be a game-time decision but we did hear Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra say that he was encouraged by how the big man looked. We think it is a good chance that he suits up on Tuesday night against the Spurs. You should continue to monitor his status right up until Tip-Off. Analysis: Drew Phelps
