Tony Romo said recovery from back surgery is going well.
Joe Wieland avoids arbitration and re-signs with the Dodgers.
Wieland spent most of last season with the Dodgers' Triple-A affiliate and posted a 4.59 ERA with a 7.28 K/9 over 113 2/3 innings. The 25-year old right-hander once showed some nice promise at the minor league level, but has since faded and seems unlikely to make any sort of impression at the big league level. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but he's not costing the Dodgers too much here. Analysis: Howard Bender
Chris Johnson (broken tibia) is expected to miss six-to-eight weeks.
Horrible news for those who had been riding Johnson here in his return season. He'll miss the rest of the season which obviously blankets your fantasy playoffs and won't appear in the NFL playoffs unless the Cardinals go to the Super Bowl and even then he's be a long shot. With Andre Ellington also battling turf toes, you're going to want to put the rest of your FAAB money on David Johnson. He's the new No. 1 stud in Arizona. Analysis: Howard Bender
