Fantasy Player Updates & News  2016 MLB Draft Guide Is Here!

Joakim Noah will play through a sprained thumb Friday. He participated in today's shootaround.

Noah has posted a triple-double in two of his last three games, but is a risky play with the thumb injury and his struggles against Memphis. Noah is averaging just 7.3 points on 41.9 percent shooting in his six previous matchups against the Griz.ANALYST: Michael Pichan

Austin Rivers won't need surgery on his broken hand.

Rivers will likely miss four-to-six weeks with his broken hand, but won't require surgery. The Clippers rotation is depleted and this injury doesn't help that at all. Without Rivers, Pablo Prigioni and Jamal Crawford will likely take Rivers minutes.  Analysis: James Grande

Update: Rudy Gay (ankle) is going to try and give it a go on Monday night.

Gay sprained his ankle in Friday's game against the Nets, forcing him to leave after just four minutes of action. He missed Sunday's game and after being listed as doubtful all day Monday, will actually give it a go. If his ankle doesn't respond well, Marco Belinelli and Omri Casspi will reek the benefits. Analysis: James Grande

Amar'e Stoudemire will remain in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game.

It's not as if Stoudemire is lighting it up each game, but Hassan Whiteside has responded wonderfully since moving to the bench. Whiteside has dominated opposing second-units, so if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Stoudemire may be starting, but has absolutely no fantasy value. It's no longer 2011 and he's not in Mike D'Antoni's system. Analysis: James Grande

Wesley Johnson will start for the Clippers on Monday.

With Paul Pierce resting on Monday, Wesley Johnson will draw his sixth start of the season. After being taken with the fourth pick of the 2010 draft, Johnson simply hasn't panned out. That being said, he's a very reliable rotation player and will most likely give the Clippers solid minutes on Monday. Analysis: James Grande

Paul Pierce (rest) will not play on Monday.

The 38-year old will not play on Monday due to rest. With Pierce sitting, Wesley Johnson will start in his place. Pierce has only topped 10 points in a game once over his last four games. Analysis: James Grande
