Gerald Green dropped a game and career-high 41 points on the Thunder to go with five rebounds, two assists, a block, and a team-high three steals in 41 minutes of the 128-122 home win.
Green is averaging 24 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.8 steals in 34.8 minutes over his last five games, but like Darren Collison of the Clippers, Green's role as a starter may soon be coming to an end as Eric Bledsoe is nearing a return. (Green is averaging about seven more points and more than a rebound per game as a starter this season then when coming off the bench).ANALYST: Michael Pichan
Eduardo Rodriguez will start Thursday in Texas for the Red Sox.
The Red Sox were considering bringing Rodriguez up in late April when Wade Miley was struggling but now they may consider him a potential replacement for the nightmare that is Joe Kelly. He'll start Thursday to stay on his regular throwing schedule and this may only be a spot start/audition, but keep an eye on him especially if there's a chance he joins the rotation. Wil Myers (wrist) is improving but not close to returning.
It's not so much that he isn't close to returning, it's that the Padres are being very cautious with him and have not set a timetable for him to start swinging a bat. Once he does start, it might not be too long before he lands on a rehab assignment. The team is hoping for an early-to-mid June return, but we'll just have to wait and see. Analysis: Howard Bender
