Cole Hamels suffered a setback in his recovery from tendonitis in his left shoulder. He’ll throw off a mound some time next week if he doesn’t suffer any more setbacks.
Hamels' health is a cause for concern in 2014 and with draft season upon us, this is not the type of news we want to hear. His draft stock continues to drop as Spring Training progresses, and is currently holding an ADP of 69.60 according to the NFBC. If you like to gamble, Hamels will likely come at an extreme value this year, just be cautious that this is the type of injury that could resurface through the season. ANALYST: Matthew Beck
Michael Floyd (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Week 12.
Floyd missed Week 11 due to a hamstring injury. He was a limited participant in practice all week, and is questionable for Week 12. Head Coach Bruce Arians is optimistic about his status, but Floyd may just be a decoy come Sunday if he's still limited by his hamstring. There are better plays for Week 12, unless Floyd is declared a full go. Analysis: Ben Diamond
