UPDATES & NEWS
Update: NFL announces that Brandon Browner will be fully reinstated after serving a four-game suspension without pay.
The defending Super Bowl champs will have their secondary back in full force to open the season and that's bad news for...well, everyone else. Browner missed some important time, but was still a key member of one of the fiercest groups of defensive backs in the game. ANALYST: Howard Bender
Jed Lowrie left Monday's game with a thumb injury. He's going back to Houston Tuesday for an MRI.
In all likelihood Jonathan Villar or Marwin Gonzalez will fill in for Lowrie if he misses extended time, but there's an outside chance the first-place Astros call up uber-prospect Carlos Correa for his first major league taste. Correa is murdering the Texas League (Double-A) to the tune of .375/.429/.719 with four home runs and two stolen bases. He's worth a speculative add in competitive leagues until the situation becomes more clear. Astros GM Jeff Luhnow has hinted that he wouldn't be scared to "lift" Correa straight from Double-A at some point. Analysis: Spencer Silva
