Rudy Gay scored a team-high 25 points with three rebounds, six assists, two steals, and blocked shot as the Kings got crushed by the Rockets 129-103 at home.
Miguel Castro will open the season in the majors.
Castro flew under the radar in the minors last season, but is making the rare jump from A-Ball to the majors. This is thanks to his (likely) temporary move to the bullpen for the Spring, which enabled his stuff to tick up a bit in shorter outings.
