NBA columnist Peter Vecsey made waves late Wednesday night when he sent out a series of tweets claiming Kevin Love, who is under contract until 2015, is "forcing a premature exit".
Despite the recent tweets, the Timberwolves have made zero inclinations that they are going to move Love before today's trade deadline. Although Love is not expected to re-sign with Minnesota once a free-agent, the organization appears to think it is a better move to hold onto him for now. ANALYST: Matthew Beck
Bills are expected to release Mario Williams.
It was obvious that he was not fitting into the defensive scheme being employed by Rex Ryan and his staff. At 31 years of age, he still should have some skills left to devote to another team that will utilize his pass rush and tackling abilities. Look for him to catch on with another team if Buffalo decides to cut him loose. Analysis: Ivar G. Anderson
DeMarcus Ware said that he intends to continue playing.
Ware has been quoted as saying that "he's got a lot of gas left in the tank," so this announcement comes as no huge shock. Playing opposite Von Miller help to revitalize his game, as he snagged 7.5 sacks in 11 regular season games and 3.5 in three post season games, with two of those coming in the Super Bowl last Sunday.
