Former NFL safety Darren Sharper is suspected of committing seven rapes and 11 druggings that allegedly occurred in California, Arizona, Los Angeles and Louisiana.
Charges on Sharper were filed in LA on Friday on two cases of drugging-rapes, but in the filings he is suspected of additional drugging-rapes. Sharper will be arraigned on February 20th and has been suspended without pay since he was originally arrested on January 17th in LA.ANALYST: Michael Pichan
Ricky Rubio (sore left ankle) is questionable for Friday.
Rubio has been playing through the soreness recently and has been on the court for the last five-straight games. He's been receiving steady treatment and will test the ankle at pre-game warm-ups. Given the treatment session after Wednesday's game and having all of Thursday off, we expect him to be in the lineups Friday. Analysis: Howard Bender
Victor Oladipo will come off the bench Friday.
After struggling over a number of games, Oladipo was moved to the bench for Wednesday's game against the Knicks. He responded with 24 points and four rebounds over 26 minutes, so coach Scott Skiles is going to use him in the same fashion to see if it works for him again. Should he continue to perform as well, he should see closer to his usual 30 minutes that he was playing earlier in the year. Analysis: Howard Bender
Brett Lawrie is "likely to be traded" by the A's according to reports.
Oakland's trade for Jed Lowrie means the A's don't have room for both Lawrie and Danny Valencia, and Lawrie stands a better chance of getting traded. Lawrie finally stayed healthy last season, batting .260/.299/.407 in 149 games. Moving to a different ballpark and a better lineup should help Lawrie's fantasy production, but at this point he is nothing more than a solid middle infielder. Analysis: Steve Pimental
