Larry Sanders (eye) underwent surgery Thursday to correct his broken orbital bone. He remains out indefinitely.
Although there has been no official word as to when Sanders will be able to return following his surgery, things are not looking good for his fantasy value. Sanders has played in only 23 games this season, averaging 7.7 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.7 blocks, which would only get better if he was able to stay on the court for an extended period of time. When he returns he will likely be back in the starting lineup, but there are still too many question marks surrounding his health to warrant holding onto him in standard leagues while sidelined.
