James Harden led the Rockets to a win over the TWolves with a team-high 19 points to go with five rebounds, five assists, and a steal.
Harden struggled from the field making just 4 of 14 shots, but did make 3 of 6 from downtown. Harden has played 32-plus minutes in each of his last four games since returning from missing two games with a thumb injury, which may still be affecting his shot and his ball handling as he has nine turnovers in his last two games combined.ANALYST: Michael Pichan
Welington Castillo went 2-for-4 with a double and a run against Houston on Sunday.
Castillo benefitted greatly from Jarrod Saltalamacchia’s recent injury as Castillo played a large majority of the games behind the plate in Salty’s absence. And he played well as his wOBA since the All-Star break is over .450. But he struck out in almost 40 percent of his plate appearances and rode a .400 BABIP to most of his success. With Salty back now and regression likely for Castillo, don’t count on as much from him going forward. Analysis: Brett Talley
The Indians are weighing the possibility to placing Jason Kipnis (shoulder) on the disabled list.
Kipnis DH'ed on Friday and Saturday nights before sitting out on Sunday, so apparently this shoulder injury has been an isue for a few days now. Kipnis has ridden a .375 BABIP to an excellent .326 batting average this season. He has been hitting line drives at an incredibly high rate, but counting on a super-high line drive rate to continue is foolhardy, so Kipnis could be in line for some regression in that department if this injury doesn't knock him out for the rest of the year.
