Rajon Rondo recorded a double-double that included 15 points and 12 assists in Sunday's loss to Dallas.
Rondo was able to return to the court on Sunday after missing Friday's game, recording his second double-double in five games. He has looked good since making his season debut, but he doesn't appear to be at the level we have grown accustomed to seeing from him. Now that his minutes restriction appears to be over, more fantasy production should be on the way. ANALYST: Matthew Beck
Kevin Gausman allowed two earned runs on four hits while striking out six in seven innings against the Tigers on Saturday.
Gausman pitched very well against the Tigers today, en route to earning his second win of the 2015 season. He shutout the Braves over 7 2/3 innings in his last start, and even though he didn’t blank the Tigers, he pitched well enough to get his team the victory. If he can continue to pitch like this, he is going to help a lot of fantasy teams—and the Orioles—down the stretch. However, keep in mind that in the two starts before his matchup against the Braves, he surrendered 11 earned runs on 13 hits in just 9 2/3 innings of work. He will face the Angels on Friday in his next start. Analysis: Colby Conway
Ian Kinsler went 3-for-4 with a double against the Tigers on Saturday.
After a superb month of July, Kinsler is starting off August in a big way. In 27 games in July, Kinsler’s .366 average was the third highest for a second baseman, trailing only DJ LeMahieu (.400) and Devon Travis (.368). Kinsler has three straight multi-hit efforts and he is producing for his owners, despite the subtraction of a few regulars in the Detroit lineup. Even though he hasn’t homered since July 20, he needs to be in all lineups moving forward. Analysis: Colby Conway
