Steve Blake posts second career triple-double in Wednesday's whopping of the Cavs in Cleveland. Blake finished with 11 points, 10 rebounds, and 15 assists.
Blake's performance, a night after going 0-for-2 from the floor in his first game back from injury, went off in his second game back, which is more of an indication of how poor of a defensive team the Cavs are then it is anything else. So, do not read too much into Blake's breakout game and look for the trifecta in the Cavs next game against the Wizards, meaning the third point guard to post a triple-double against them in as many games.ANALYST: Michael Pichan
Jordan Lennerton has been assigned to minor league camp.
Lennerton hit .270 this spring but didn't show much pop in his bat. He had only three extra-base hits in 37 at-bats, but he did manage to drive in eight runs. He hit 10 home runs in Triple-A last season, but a .249 average leaves much to be desired. Fantasy owners should stay away from Lennerton for the time being. Analysis: Colby Conway
Vance Worley will start the season in the bullpen.
The competition for the final spot in the rotation was between Worley and Jeff Locke. Worley's 5.29 spring ERA outperformed Locke's 9.00, but the team wants Worley to be a stable figure in their bullpen. Worley's fantasy value takes a hit as he won't be a starter for a sneaky good Pittsburgh ball club. Analysis: Colby Conway
Update: Blazers have made the Tim Frazier signing official.
The former Penn State player will remain under contract with Portland for the rest of the season. Frazier was selected as the NBA Development League Player of the Week after averaging 20 points, 7.7 assists and 7.7 rebounds per game. However, Frazier won't be worth adding in leagues unless an injury bug would hit Portland. Analysis: Colby Conway
