Peyton Manning fails to earn second ring as the Broncos fell 43-8 to the Seahawks.
Manning completed 34 of 49 passes for 280 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions in a losing effort. The 34 completions are a new Super Bowl record, a bittersweet boobie prize as he and the Broncos were never in the game as the Seahawks scored a safety 12 seconds into the game and never looked back. Manning posted a 24.4 QBR, the lowest this season and the lowest in a Super Bowl game since Rex Grossman's 7.1 in 2006.ANALYST: Michael Pichan
Sean Marshall (shoulder) has resumed throwing from flat ground.
Marshall was shut down at the beginning of spring training with shoulder soreness, but has resumed throwing. Last June, Marshall underwent season ending shoulder surgery after making just 15 appearances in 2014. The only thing scarier than last season's 7.71 ERA is the fact that he has had some sort of shoulder injury in each of the last three seasons. Leave this guy off your draft board. Nathan Eovaldi has been working on improving his splitter during spring training.
Eovaldi is more of a thrower than a pitcher right now, but the Yankees are hoping he can develop into a mainstay in their rotation. Even though he hasn't had a winning season in his four year career, his velocity is hope for optimism. Eovaldi got knocked around a lot last year, but he doesn't walk many batters, something else the Yankees are excited about. Eovaldi is going late in drafts and there is some solid value to be had if he can take the next step forward. Analysis: Colby Conway
