Kevin Durant falls a game shy of the Oscar Robertson's record of 13 consecutive games of 30-plus points and 4-plus assists as he finished Friday's 120-95 blowout win over the Nets with 26 points, seven assists, three rebounds, and a steal.
Kevin Durant finished the month of January averaging 35.9 points on 54.9 percent shooting overall & 43.5 percent shooting from 3-point range and multiple Western Conference player of the week awards.ANALYST: Michael Pichan
Jonathan Gray is expected to start for the Rockies Tuesday.
Gray was the third overall pick in 2013, but his minor league numbers have not exactly lived up to his lofty draft status. In 21 games at Triple-A this season, Gray has a 4.33 ERA, 3.89 FIP and 2.68 K/BB rate. While he probably needs to be owned in deeper leagues and keeper leagues, it is going to be awfully hard to feel confident starting him in Coors until he has some big league success. He could be a sneaky tournament play for DFS Tuesday against the strikeout-prone Mariners, but Gray could easily give up five home runs as well. Analysis: Steve Pimental
Lucas Duda went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run against the Nationals on Sunday.
Duda is absolutely on fire and is a must-start until he shows signs of slowing down. He became the first Mets player in franchise history to hit nine home runs in an eight-game span after his 21st bomb of the season tonight. Duda was middling around this summer until coming on strong this past week. In his last eight games he has nine homers, 11 hits and a ridiculous 1.393 slugging percentage. This is obviously something Duda won’t be able to keep up, but until he drops off keep him in your lineup. Analysis: Zack Carpenter
