Cubs and OF Justin Ruggiano agree to one-year, $2 million deal, avoiding arbitration.
Ruggiano is a 20/20 talent who will drain your batting average. It remains to be seen if he will get full-time work in the Cubs' outfield, but he is certainly worth tossing a reserve round selection to in deep mixed leagues given the potential power/speed combination he can bring to the table.ANALYST: Ray Flowers
Zach Miller caught two passes on seven targets for 10 yards and a TD on Thursday night vs Green Bay.
Miller got the start in place of the injured Martellus Bennett on Thursday night. In all, he finished with two catches and a touchdown on seven targets, looking mediocre, however doing his best with the hand he was dealt. Anyone who started him in daily leagues could have expected better, however it is a bit spoiled to come away with much more than a TD as a definite backup. Consider him a wise play on Thursday night, and a keen start going forward at least until Bennett comes back healthy. Analysis: Dom Murtha
