Kevin Durant drops 41, including the game-winner with 1.5 seconds, as the Thunder defeated the Hawks 111-109.
Kevin Durant looks to be laying the ground work for a third consecutive Western Conference Player of the Week honor. Durant was named player of the week for the second straight week despite missing a game due to shoulder soreness last Friday. Durant averaged 39.3 points, 6.5 assists and 4.8 rebounds per game last week as he continues to make a strong case for MVP honors this season.ANALYST: Michael Pichan
Chris Iannetta went 2-for-4 with a grand slam against Detroit on Thursday.
Like several of his teammates, Iannetta has been bitten by the bad BABIP bug so far this season. However, Iannetta strikes out too much to ever help out in the batting average category. But he may not be as much of a drag going forward. The more concerning issue is his power, which, going back to last season, has been significantly reduced in his last 500 plate appearances. On the wrong side of 30, Iannetta may not see his power stroke return. Analysis: Brett Talley
