As expected, Patrick Beverley will start at point guard on Monday.
This should not come as a surprise as the only Linsanity that has occurred this season has resulted in Lin owners cursing at his disappointing play, especially over the last month while Beverly has been out. Lin is the 196 ranked Fantasy player over the last 30 days, that is D-League quality. ANALYST: Michael Pichan
Luol Deng (knee) won't return Sunday.
Michael Beasley is likely the candidate to replace the Deng starting minutes for the rest of the way. There is no word on the long term implications of the injury yet, but if there is, Beasley might be a solid play for the rest of the season. Analysis: Dom Murtha
Athletics reassign Luke Carlin, Max Muncy and Andy Parrino to minor league camp.
One of these things is not like the other. Muncy is a 23-year old prospect, while Carlin and Parrino are older journeymen. Muncy, a first baseman, his 21 home runs in 2013 at High-A in 428 plate appearances. But the power hasn't translated to Double-A yet as he hit just seven home runs in 530 plate appearances there last year. Muncy isn't really a prospect you have to know, but he's far more notable than Carlin and Parrino. Analysis: Brett Talley
