The opening line in Vegas had the Seahawks favored by two points, but shortly after the opening lines were posted, the bettors put their money heavy on Peyton Manning and the Broncos getting the points, which has now caused the line to shift.
About 90% of the early betting was on the Broncos, which caused the line to shift from Seahawks -2 to the Broncos -2.5. Over the last six Super Bowls the favorite is 1-5 against the spread (ATS), while the Broncos are 20-9 over their last 29 games ATS.ANALYST: Michael Pichan
Victor Oladipo will come off the bench Friday.
After struggling over a number of games, Oladipo was moved to the bench for Wednesday's game against the Knicks. He responded with 24 points and four rebounds over 26 minutes, so coach Scott Skiles is going to use him in the same fashion to see if it works for him again. Should he continue to perform as well, he should see closer to his usual 30 minutes that he was playing earlier in the year. Analysis: Howard Bender
Brett Lawrie is "likely to be traded" by the A's according to reports.
Oakland's trade for Jed Lowrie means the A's don't have room for both Lawrie and Danny Valencia, and Lawrie stands a better chance of getting traded. Lawrie finally stayed healthy last season, batting .260/.299/.407 in 149 games. Moving to a different ballpark and a better lineup should help Lawrie's fantasy production, but at this point he is nothing more than a solid middle infielder. Analysis: Steve Pimental
