Terrence Jones posted his third double-double in four games as he finished with 12 points, 12 rebounds, three blocks, and two steals in the win over the Celtics.

Tigers recalled Jefry Marte from Triple-A Toledo.

Marte will come up to fill the roster spot as Miggy was put on the 15-day disabled list. Marte is hitting .271 with 13 homeruns and 55 RBI this year down in the minors, so he may be able to hit a little in his short time that he will be up in the big leagues.  Analysis: Dillon Conklin

Miguel Cabrera has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with a calf strain.

After coming up hobbling on the base paths in yesterday's game it was feared that Miggy will miss some time with a calf injury. This could be a big blow to this Tigers team, but let's hope that Cabrera will be able to rest his leg for a couple of weeks and come back and start where he left off.  Analysis: Dillon Conklin

Angel Pagan is not in the Giants lineup on Saturday.

This may be something to watch being Pagan has been battling some knee issues recently. He was back in the lineup last night but getting the day off today makes me think that something may be up with the knee. Keep an eye on this one to ensure a DL stint is not in store for Pagan.  Analysis: Dillon Conklin

Rays designated Marc Krauss for assignment.

With Loney coming off the DL it will be Krauss that is the lucky winner to be sent down so Loney can have a spot on the squad. Krauss has not been playing well in limited time this season so he will likely pass through waivers and head down to the minors.  Analysis: Dillon Conklin

C.J. Riefenhauser has been optioned to Triple-A Durham.

Riefenhauser will be sent down to the minors to get some work in as he has not fared too well in the majors this year. In 6.1 innings pitched he has a 9.95 ERA. That will not get it done in the majors, Riefenhauser is still young at only 25 years old so he has some time to get it together down in the minors.  Analysis: Dillon Conklin

Everett Teaford has been recalled from Triple-A Durham.

Teaford will be called up to the big leagues to take over C.J. Riefenhauser's spot in the pen. We haven't seen much of Teaford over the years so he is likely someone you want nothing to do with. Look for him to just be an innings eater for the Rays.  Analysis: Dillon Conklin

Twins activate Ervin Santana and he will start on Sunday.

After being banned for the first 80 games of the season due to testing positive for steroids, Santana looks to come in and give the Twins a boost. He has made 3 starts down in the minors and seems to be throwing pretty good. Look for him to take the spot of Trevor May or Tommy Milone in the rotation.  Analysis: Dillon Conklin

Denard Span is not in the Nationals lineup on Saturday.

Likely just a day of rest for Span here. Look for him to be reinserted into the lineup next game for Nats. Span is having a great year so far, hitting .310 with 5 HR and 22 RBI. If he is available in your league it might not be a bad idea to scoop him up while you still can.  Analysis: Dillon Conklin

Giants designate Brett Bochy for assignment.

Not too surprising here as the only reason Brett Bochy was up in the majors was probably due to his dad being the coach. Brett will head back down to the minors and get back to work, hoping to get another chance to play in the show.  Analysis: Dillon Conklin

Kevin Gausman is preparing as if he's making another start for Baltimore, and all indications are that he will.

The Orioles will be on a road trip this week, heading to Chicago and Minnesota. The O's have brought Gausman along for the trip so I would expect him to get a start somewhere along the road trip. In his last start he went 6.1 scoreless with seven strikeouts against the Rangers. If Gausman can get more action in the rotation he seems to be a young promising arm.  Analysis: Dillon Conklin

Reds general manager Walt Jocketty says Todd Frazier is not going to be traded.

Even though the Reds have had major struggles this year, it looks as if Frazier will be staying put. He is putting up huge numbers this year, hitting .281 with 25 dingers and 54 RBI, Frazier will be a big part of this Reds team now and in the future.  Analysis: Dillon Conklin

Adrian Gonzalez went 1-for-4 connecting on his 14th home run of the season against the Mets on Friday.

Gonzalez has cooled off of late but it still slashing .293/.367/.514 with 14 home runs, 49 RBI and 43 runs scored through 294 at-bats which is nothing to laugh about. As long as he continues to keep both his walk and strikeout rate down, he remains one of the better first baseman to own in all fantasy formats.  Analysis: Matthew Beck

Kenley Jansen took his first loss of the season after allowing a game-winning sacrifice fly in the ninth inning against the Mets on Friday.

After a brilliant start to the season Jansen has been far from great of late as he has now allowed one run in each of his last three appearances although Friday's outing was the only time it came back to haunt him. He is now sitting on a 1.93 ERA, 0.59 WHIP and a 32:1 K:BB rate through 18 2/3 innings so unless his recent production starts a landslide, he remains one of the better closers to own moving forward.  Analysis: Matthew Beck

Clayton Kershaw allowed just one run on five hits and two walks while striking out seven batters over seven innings against the Mets on Friday.

Despite allowing just one run in his second straight outing, Kershaw was unable to get back in the win column, as he has now taken three losses over his last five starts. Despite some bad luck Kershaw is still pitching well as he is sitting 5-6 with a 3.08 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and a 147:27 K:BB rate through 17 starts, so as long as he can keep his head up the wins will catch up to him eventually. He will look to get back in the win column when he takes on the Phillies on Wednesday to finish up the first half of the season.  Analysis: Matthew Beck
