Dodgers have let it be known they plan to go all-out in their efforts to sign Masahiro Tanaka, saying they and certainly won't be out-bid.

The Dodgers new television deal is for something like $867 trillion dollars so they can basically outspend everyone on the planet if they want to add someone. It's not like the Dodgers need more starters, not if Josh Beckett or Chad Billingsley is healthy enough to hold down the 5th spot in the rotation. ANALYST: Ray Flowers

Joey Terdoslavich will continue his rehab assignment with Double-A Mississippi starting on Wednesday.

Terdoslavich isn't likely to be a major impact for the Braves this season, so this news shouldn't of the utmost concern to fantasy owners. The switch-hitting outfielder has appeared in just seven minor league games thus far, in which he is hitting .318. Analysis: Colby Conway

Jaime Garcia went seven strong innings, allowing just one run while striking out four and giving up three hits on Monday night against Milwaukee.

Garcia gave up a run in the first, but cruised afterwards and was given the hard-luck loss. He only threw 86 pitches through seven innings, but was lifted for a pinch-hitter. With a rash of injuries to the rotation, Garcia's last three starts are put him in the driver's seat to stay in St. Louis over prospect Marco Gonzales. Analysis: Rob Trayah

Francisco Rodriguez allowed two baserunners, but picked up the save on Monday night in the Brewers' 1-0 win over the Cardinals.

The veteran's ninth save of the year didn't come without a little anxiety as he put the winning run on base, but did not surrender. K-Rod now has nine saves on the year with 1.42 ERA to go along with a 0.89 WHIP. Analysis: Rob Trayah

Mike Fiers struck out six in six shutout innings while giving up just four hits and two walks while picking up the win over the Cardinals on Monday.

Fiers pitched on normal rest even though having his start pushed up a day and delivered to get his second win of the season. He hasn't been able to get through the sixth inning lately, but was able to Monday night and cornered his first quality start in his last four. After a rough start to the year, Fiers' ERA has dwindled down to 4.06, but is still giving up a bunch of hits to the tune of a .286 BAA while striking out 69 in 57 2/3 innings. Analysis: Rob Trayah

Anthony Rendon (knee, oblique) is not ready to be activated off the disabled list. He will return to Double-A Harrisburg on Tuesday to resume a rehab assignment.

Fantasy owners are dying to have their early round investment in their lineups. He is expected to come to Washington in about a week or two, where he will make an immediate impact in all fantasy formats. Rendon is a fantasy stud who has dual-eligibility at second base and third base. Get ready for Rendon's return. Analysis: Colby Conway

Dilson Herrera (finger) began taking swings and throwing Monday.

Herrera has been on the shelf since May 15, when he fractured the tip of his right middle finger. He was a minimal impact when he was healthy, so this isn't an injury situation where fantasy owners should pick him up and wait for his return. He can be left in the free agent pool of your league while he recovers from this finger injury. Analysis: Colby Conway

Jordan Lyles will visit a foot specialist Tuesday to determine if surgery is necessary on his sprained left big toe.

Lyles has said that it's okay when he throws, but the team is concerned when he has to make a play covering first base or any sorts of running on that ailing foot. We will know more following tomorrow's visit, so no fantasy decisions should be made until there is official word from the foot specialist. Analysis: Colby Conway

David Huff will come in to pitch in relief on Monday, ending whatever small chance there was of him starting on Tuesday.

Huff was expected to start one of the two games being played tomorrow, but if he appears in this game tonight, he won't be available to start tomorrow. That leaves an opening for a spot start tomorrow against the Rockies. Whoever does get this start should not be added in fantasy leagues, because a matchup with the Rockies in Colorado isn't enticing at all. Analysis: Colby Conway

Shaquille Riddick sat out Monday's practice with a sore hamstring.

This hamstring injury has limited Riddick this offseason, pushing him even farther behind his teammates. He has missed the last three weeks and it's hurting his progress on learning the team's playbook through physical practicing. He is expected to miss the rest of this week in order to try to be as healthy as possible for the start of mandatory minicamp. Analysis: Colby Conway

Bud Norris (illness) is expected to return to the Orioles following Tuesday's game at Triple-A Norfolk.

Norris and Matt Wieters are both scheduled to play at Norfolk on Tuesday, with the hopes of both of them meeting the team at some point during the series with the Astros. Norris has been awful so far this season, going 1-4 with a 9.88 ERA and a 1.87 WHIP. He can be left off all rosters at this juncture. Analysis: Colby Conway

Derek Carr is still not throwing passes, he has been relegated to hand offs in the Raiders third OTA session.

The team is easing their young signal caller along as he battles this ring finger injury. He should be ready to throw passes by June 9, which is the first day for mandatory minicamp. He is a low-end fantasy quarterback this season, but the addition of Amari Cooper should help a rather weak receiving group in Oakland.  Analysis: Colby Conway

Chargers are working to extend DT Corey Liuget's contract.

Liuget has been a constant producer for the Chargers over the past four season. He has played in all but one game, showing that he is durable and can survive the NFL gauntlet. He has 18 career sacks, along with five forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries and 169 tackles. 2015 will be no different than years past, as Liuget will be a regular on the San Diego defensive line. Analysis: Colby Conway

Dolphins are converting wide receiver Tony Lippett to cornerback in OTAs.

Lippett recorded three interceptions in today's practice, so early signs point to this move being rather smart by Miami. It could just be a flash in the pan, but there is hope that Lippett can make the transition and help out the Miami secondary here and there. Being a receiver most of his life will help him track the ball as a corner, but he needs the reps at the corner position to master the intricacies. Analysis: Colby Conway

Melvin Upton, who is expected to at least get 40-50 at-bats on his rehab assignment, has managed 29 at-bats in his first eight games

Upton is getting close to a return to the Padres, but there isn't a direct route to consistent playing time in the San Diego outfield. He will likely platoon in the outfield when he does return, but his recent track record doesn't give any reason about why he needs to be on any fantasy roster. Upton hasn't hit above .210 since 2012 when he was with the Rays. Analysis: Colby Conway

Denzel Perryman was limited during OTAs Monday as he deals with a minor hamstring issue.

Perryman's hammy isn't considered to be serious and he should be able to ramp it up soon. There is no need to push it this early, so the team is going to take it easy with the linebacker. No one should worry unless this hamstring continues to linger for a long period of time. Analysis: Colby Conway
