Pelicans starting point guard Jrue Holiday is out indefinitely with stress fracture in right tibia.

Rays demote Matt Moore to Triple-A Durham.

Moore has struglled mightily with his command upon returning from the Tommy John surgery, leading to an 8.78 ERA. Command is usually the last thing to return after Tommy John surgery, so the Rays will have to hope that Moore gets it figured out in Triple-A. Analysis: Ben Diamond

Baltimore Orioles pitcher Mike Wright (left-calf strain) placed on 15-day disabled list.

Wright left Saturday's game with a calf cramp, but it turns out that the injury is more severe than it initially appeared. He'll now land on the DL with a calf strain, and is without a timetable for return. Analysis: Ben Diamond

Yasmani Grandal went 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and one run scored against the Dodgers on Saturday.

Grandal has been a beast for fantasy owners this season. He is hitting .292 on the season with 15 homers, 39 runs scored and 41 RBI. He is a top-3 catcher right now and since he does have first base eligibility, he gives his owners some lineup flexibility. Continue to run him out there whenever he is on the lineup card. Analysis: Colby Conway

Kenley Jansen earned his 19th save of the season on Saturday against the Angels, despite allowing one earned run on two hits while walking one and striking out two.

Jansen’s velocity has been a tad lower than usual lately and with no reported injury, he might be dealing with some sort of fatigue. He has allowed an earned run in each of his last three outings and five total in as many innings. He will continue to get plenty of saves, but don’t be surprised if some sort of news comes out about an injury or fatigue issues for the Los Angeles closer. Analysis: Colby Conway

Clayton Kershaw allowed just two hits and one walk while striking out seven in eight shutout innings on Saturday against the Angels.

Kershaw continues to dominate his opposition. He held the Angels to just two hits in eight strong innings and was very efficient in doing so, firing 76 of his 114 pitches for strikes. Kershaw had this start pushed back twice due to a hip and/or glute issue, but he showed no ill effects of it today. After a slow—well, slow for him—start to the season, Kershaw is returning to his normal dominant self that we have come to love in fantasy baseball. Over his last four starts, spanning 34 shutout innings, he has allowed just 16 hits and one walk, while striking out 45 batters. It goes without saying, but make sure he’s in your lineup for his next start, which comes on Friday against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Analysis: Colby Conway

Los Angeles Angels pitcher Cory Rasmus will start on Sunday.

Rasmus will presumably take the rotation spot of C.J. Wilson for now, getting a spot start on Sunday. He will likely be either put in the bullpen or sent down once Jared Weaver returns next week, though. Analysis: Ben Diamond

Albert Pujols went 2-for-4 with one RBI on Saturday against the Dodgers.

Two singles and one RBI made for the big bat in the Angels’ lineup today. The Angels put three runners on base through eight innings against Clayton Kershaw, however, they put the same amount in just one inning against closer Kenley Jansen. Pujols has been a fantasy owners’ dream this season by hitting 30 home runs, scoring 60 times and driving in 65 runs on the season. Continue to start him on a regular basis. Analysis: Colby Conway

Andrew Heaney allowed two earned runs on four hits while walking two and striking out three in 5 1/3 innings on Saturday against the Dodgers.

After winning five of his first six starts, Heaney was finally beaten. While he pitched well, he wasn’t as efficient as he was in recent starts. Today’s outing was his shortest of the season, the two walks tied his season high and his three strikeouts were the lowest he’s registered in a game thus far. With all that being said, it wasn’t a great start for Heaney, but if this is the floor for him, that’s pretty good. He tossed 97 pitches through 5 1/3 innings, but the Angels offense was stymied on Saturday by Clayton Kershaw. His next start will come on Friday against the Baltimore Orioles. Analysis: Colby Conway

New York Yankees pitcher Luis Severino will start on Wednesday.

The Yankees knew that Severino would start during the Yankees/Red Sox series mid-next week, but it wasn't known for sure what exact game it would be until today. Severino is likely to stick in the big leagues for the remainder of this season, and with ace upside, he could play a big part in the Yankees second half. Analysis: Ben Diamond

Update: Tennessee Titans WR Hakeem Nicks left practice with cramps to his calf.

Nicks limped off the field, and while it initially looked like he may have suffered a much worse injury, he should be fine within a day or two. Analysis: Ben Diamond

New York Mets OF Michael Conforto has been optioned to Triple-A Las Vegas.

Conforto started hot, going 4-4 in his second major league game, but went hitless in his next 12 at bats (four games). He'll now be sent down to Triple-A to make room for the newly-acquired Yoenis Cespedes.  Analysis: Ben Diamond
