Suns G Eric Bledsoe is out indefinitely after team determined that he needs right knee surgery.
Bledsoe was having a career year in his first opportunity to start full-time with a team, but unfortunately Fantasy owners will now have to turn towards the wavier wire to replace the 24-year old shooting guard. One option could be his teammate Gerald Green who moved into the starting lineup when Bledsoe originally went down with his knee injury. In 16 games as a starter this season Gerald Green is averaging 15.7 pts, 2.9 3pts made, 2.8 rebs, 1.6 ast, and one-plus steals. If Green is unavailable we have some other possible replacements in this week's Waiver Wire article under the NBA Articles tab on our homepage.ANALYST: Michael Pichan
Red Sox have recalled Jackie Bradley Jr from Triple-A Pawtucket.
The Red Sox are in need of some depth as Shane Victorino is on the DL and with Mike Napoli nursing a bad case of the sniffles, Daniel Nava is being used at first base. Bradley may be able to audition here for a larger role and could conceivably carve something out for himself while Victorino is out, if he plays well. For now, though, he is not someone fantasy owners should be considering. Analysis: Howard Bender
Bills have exercised their fifth-year contract option on CB Stephon Gilmore.
The Bills are obviously hoping that they exercised the option on the second-half Gilmore and not the first-half guy. Over the early part of the season, Gilmore was toasted by receivers every which way, allowing 22 completions on 27 passes thrown in his direction. In the second half though, he massively improved his coverage skills and allowed just 21 completions on 42 passes thrown his way as quarterbacks made a major attempt to expose his flaws. If he can maintain where he was in the latter half of the season he should prove to be a strong defensive asset. Analysis: Howard Bender
