Coach Mike McCarthy will have a press conference at 1:15 p.m Central time on Wednesday to announce the status of QB Aaron Rodgers.
There has been no official decision made in terms of Rodgers' availability for Week 17, but he was able to practice in a limited capacity on Wednesday. It is highly unlikely that he plays Sunday, considering he has yet to be medically cleared by team doctors, so expect Matt Flynn to start for the Packers in a crucial divisional matchup against the Bears. DeMarcus Ware will not play Week 12.
This is the third straight game Ware is going to miss due to a back injury. Even after missing the last two games, Ware stills leads the Broncos with 6 1/2 sacks. He's as demonstrative to quarterbacks as always, even at 33 years old. Analysis: James Grande
Kobe will play Saturday against Portland.
Bryant will play Saturday against Portland. Bryant ranks 122-of-122 in field-goal percentage. He's been simply terrible and has been the subject of many discussions if his career is finished. ESPN ranked Bryant 93rd before he season and it looks like that may be generous. Analysis: James Grande
